There are many government’s across the world and they provide different types of services for the welfare of the people, So today we are going to see the UAE Government services and their details.
First of all, United Arab Emirates is an elective monarchy which is formed from a federation of seven emirates which are Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain. 1)Issue and Entry Permit
You can apply for entry permits or visas through the website of Federal Authority for identity and Citizenship(ICA) which is eChannel for residency and citizenship. Or you can also apply to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs of the Individual emirate. 2)Electricity Bill and Water Bill
In this service, The customer should pay the due amount for the electricity and water consumption. You can also pay through Banks and Al Ansari Exchange as well.
3)Renewing your residence Visa
You have to renew your residence visa before it expires, A renewed visa will let you continue living legally in the UAE without incurring fines or facing legal consequences for the same.
The relevant GDRFA allows the residents a grace period of 30 days to stay in the UAE after the visa expires. There are some penalties included as well which are AED 25 per day during the first 6 months, AED 50, and 100 per day during the seconds 6months and a year and more.
4)Traffic Fines Payment
By this service, You can view all your traffic fines which are related to a traffic profile number, plate number or any vehicle plate number and pay them as well.
To pay the fines, You have to select the fine that you need to pay and then click on Pay Fines. To view your fine details, You can click on Actions icon and your violation details will be shown on the screen. To pay you have to fill all needed details, Click on Pay, and a receipt will be generated.
5)Issue a residency permit
Foreigners can live as residents in the UAE if they are employed by a company in the UAE, government sector, Investors in a business in the UAE, Buy a property in the UAE, University students sponsored by their universities in the UAE.
It is important to know that the residence visa is issued to a foreigner when he/she is already inside the country after entering the UAE via an entry permit, short or long term tourist or visit visa.
6)Renew work permit and Contract/ Mission Work Permit
It is a service provided by the ministry to establishment which wishes to renew a work permit for two years. This transaction is used when renewing the electronic work permit of the foreign worker after the expiration of the current work permit or before its expiry period by not more than 60 days. 7)Issue work contract
This is a service provided by the Ministry to the establishment that wishes to obtain a new work contract for the work and the contract period is two years. The target audience for this service are employers.
8)Issue work Permit
This service is same as the above one, This service is designed specially for the employers and ministry wants to obtain a new work contract for the employers and the contract period is two years.
9)Renew ID Card
Renewal of the ID Card is compulsory for all residents of the UAE including UAE nationals, GCC nationals and residents of the UAE. Anyone who are under this category are required to apply for the renewal of the ID card.
These are the five steps to apply for a renew ICA Card:
- You can apply for Emirates ID Card renewal easily through the website ica.gov.ae or You can register and create an Account UAE pass.
- There choose Renewal ID Card.
- Fill the application and pay the fees.
- After that you will receive an message to your registered mobile number regarding the status of your ID Card.
- After that a delivery company will deliver your new ID Card.
