UAE Covid Vaccines List and Centers
Covid-19 Virus has shook the entire world completely, Many people have lost their lives and now because of the vaccines introduction and safety precautions the Covid-19 has come a bit under control. But the reports suggest that the third wave of the Covid-19 is ahead and UAE is one of the busiest places in the world.
So today we are going to see UAE Covid Vaccines List and Centers.
UAE Covid-19 Rules
UAE has announced some rules for the tourists and they are:
- UAE announced opening of tourist visas to vaccinated people from all countries. Tourist visas applications will be open to people from all countries, provided that they are fully vaccinated with one of the WHO-approved Covid-19 Vaccines starting from 30th August 2021.
- The Decision applies to the citizens of all countries, previously some countries were banned because of the Covid-19. Now citizens of all countries are welcome.
- Arriving passengers on tourist visa must take a mandatory rapid PCR test at the aiprot.
- The previous rules for unvaccinated, including exempted categories, remain in place.
- Travelers wishing to receive the benefits provided to individuals vaccinated in the UAE can register their vaccination via the ICA platform or AI Hosn Application.
Covid-19 Vaccines in UAE
A) Moderna mRNA-1273
The Moderna Covid-19 codenamed mRNA-1273 is a Covid-19 Vaccine developed by American company Moderna, The United States National Institute of Allergy and infectious dieaseas and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority. It is authorized for use in people aged twelve years and older in some jurisdictions.
B) Pfizer/Bio NTech BNT162b2
The Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 Vaccine is sold under the brand name Comirnaty. This is an mRNA-based Covid-19 vaccine developed by the German biotechnology company BioNTech and for its development it collaborated with American company Pfizer. It is authorized for use in people aged five years and older in some jurisdictions.
C) Gamalaeya Sputnik Light
Sputnik Light is a Single Dose Covid-19 Vaccine developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of epidemiology and microbiology. It consists of the first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine, It can be stored at normal refrigerator temperature. This vaccine is suited for areas with big outbkreas and it allows more people to be vaccinated quickly. This vaccine is also used as an third dose for those who took Sputnik V at least 6 months earlier
D) Gamaleya Sputnik V
Sputnik V is an Vector Vaccine for Covid-19 developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of epidemiology and Microbiology. This is the world’s first registered combination vector vaccine for the prevention of Covid-19. The V in the Sputnik V means Victory over Covid-19. Many countries have received this vaccine and this is used in the emergency cases when there is an bigger outbreak.
E) Oxford-AstraZeneca
Oxford-Astra Zeneca Covid-19 Vaccine and sold under the brand names of Covishield and Vaxzevria. It is a viral vector vaccine for prevention of Covid-19 developed in the United Kingdom by the Oxford University and British-Swedish company Astra Zeneca.
The vaccine is stable at refrigerator temperatures and has a good profile. The Vaccine has been approved by several medicine agencies worldwide.
F) Sinopharm BIBP Vaccine
Sinopharm BIBP is one of the two inactivated virus Covid-19 vaccines developed by Sinopharm’s Beijing Institute of Biological products and it shares similar technology with CoronaVaC. This vaccine is being used in certain countries in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe.
There is also another one which is Sinopharm WIBP Vaccine, Recently in UAE and Baharian showed WIBP has 72.8% effective against symptomatic cases and 100% against severe cases.
