How to check civil ID status in Oman?
Every resident in the Oman should have a resident identity card which is called Oman Iqama. This electronic card contains all the details of the holder like their salary, allowance, visa status. This card has many benefits like E-gates, Electronic wallet, skipping long queues at the airport by doing digital payments easily.
It is issued for the residents whether they are employed or not. The Civil card will get once you enter Oman on a valid work visa and pay the fee, medical documents and other documents.
Here you can check the status of your resident card just follow these steps and complete the procedure quite easily.
1. First go to the official website by clicking on this link https://www.manpower.gov.om/Portal/ResidentsDetails.aspx
2. Then you will see a screen which will show the details like Login, Civil Id Number and other info. You can change the language to English to understand the work easily.
3. There you have to fill in the Civil Number(Bataka Number), Passport Number and your Date of Birth.
4. Once you fill in all three options then click on Search. Once you click on that you will see the information like your Name, Basic Salary, Allowance, education, Card Status Date, Issue Date, expiry date and others
5. If the ID is still in process, it will clearly show it is under process. If it is completed, you will see the process is completed.
6. You can take a print out of the Civil ID from the self service centers and use it for many benefits in Oman.
